Description Displays "you are here" information in plain text or as links. It can be used as an additionally navigation resource (eg. MySite> MyDir> MySubDir> File). The script truncates any file extension. licolocation is highly configurable. The separator and the "MySite" can be modified. You can use CSS for formatting the links. You can choose to hide the filename. You are allowed to specify your own names if the folders aren't descriptive enough.

DHTML Tabbed Pane Interface PHP Class

The author writes "I found a very nice javascript that allow me to do a DHTML tab interface for my website. However, not being very well versed in javascript it was a fight to make it work every time. So I created this PHP include file to make it easy. Everything you need is in the archive, just untar and run."

    SI Web Tree

SI Web Tree is a PHP based tree navigation script. It can be used within framed or non-framed sites. With the exception of a rollover script, the tree is completely server-side controlled. The script works with any browser.

    HTML_TreeMenu

This PHP/Javascript combo allows you to easily create a tree menu. With capable browsers, the menu is dynamic and allows the branches to be expanded/collapsed. This works AFAIK with Internet Explorer 4+, Mozilla, and Netscape Navigator 6+. With other browsers, Opera for example, the menu is static. Also, with Internet Explorer 5+, the status of the expanded/collapsed branches is persistent, (ie it survives a refresh). Each node can have an optional link and icon. 1.0.3 comes with reference (PHP side) and persistence bug fixes.

    Directory Reader

A must-have program for organizing all sorts of files in online sorted lists, especially for a large volume of files. Directory Reader reads files in any online accessible web directory and displays indexed lists of links to those files in a formatted manner. Website visitor can sort lists by name and size in any order. A core uniqe feature of Directory Reader is its ability to see a copy of itself in the "neighbouring" directory, which allows it creation of the dynamic navigation links.

    PHPmenu

PHPmenu is a full site navigation bar with Submenus, generated by a MySQL database and user-friendly adminstration backend where You can delete, add and update links and sublinks.

    URHere

Displays "you are here" information in text, and link form ralative to your path in the following format: Site > Directory > Sub Directory > Page. Truncates the file extension, and uses > seperators, but can be changed easily.

    phpNav

phpNav is a very powerful library of classes that lets you manage the name and path of all your site's pages in a simple hierarchical database. changes to the database will be reflected thoughout your entire site instantly making large changes simple. features new to v0.8 include element caching and translation capabilities. designed to take the tedium out of website programming.

    RUMBLE

RUMBLE produces Flash, XHTML 1.0 Strict, and RSS 1.0 views of an XML file that contains groups of items with urls. The contents of the XML file can be edited through your browser. After editing, the XHTML and RSS views are republished as static files. Won't scale well because it relies on a static XML file for storage and also because the Flash movie (.fla source file included in the zip) will parse the XML internally, but may be useful in situations where a database is not available or would be considered overkill. <b>1.02 update:</b> fixed bug with dc:subject element in RSS view.

    pNav

pNav is a PHP and MySQL driven framework for website developers who wish to implement a dynamic website quickly and easily. It features a top navigation bar and side navigation menu which are both derived from entries in the back end MySQL database. A full readme explaining how the script works and an example page is included in the download.

    PHP Trailing

Trailing is something you see on different web sites which shows you the trail of web pages you have visited, like: Category->Books->Computers->PHP. This is a simple code to add trailing to your web site. The trails are developed in PHP and stored in cookies.
