Script Name Xeena The editor takes as input a given DTD, and automatically builds a palette containing the elements defined in the DTD. Users can thus create/edit/expand any document derived from that DTD, by using a visual tree-directed paradigm. The visual paradigm requires a minimum learning curve as only valid constructs/elements are presented to the user in a context-sensitive palette. XML Schema Quality Checker XML Schema Quality Checker is a program which takes as input an XML Schema written in the W3C XML schema language and diagnoses improper uses of the schema language. Where the appropriate action to correct the schema is not obvious, the diagnostic message may include a suggestion about how to make the fix. For Schemas which are composed of numerous schema documents connected via or element information items, a full schema-wide checking is performed. The tool can also be run in batch mode to quality check multiple XML schemas in a single run. XSLTester This tool is now a mature 2 years old. It was the first opensource Visual XSL development environment. XSLDebugger Complete with breakpoints and step-into/over this is a visual tool for XSL developers. Currently in beta, this tool is easy to use and small. XML Converter XML Converter unites data from ODBC, MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL databases, or from MS Office files into XML documents. It gives you the ability to predefine XML transformation template scenario to create an XML with your particular multilevel tagged tree structure from your specially formatted data source. It generates documents that contain the OLE DB or ODBC data merged into the original XML. Using XML Converter allows you to create XML documents with the same data as your original ODBC data source, MS SQL Server, Oracle DB, Microsoft Excel workbook, Microsoft Access database, Word document, or text file. The resulting XML document will be built in strong compliance with XSL specifications. Converter features XML output in four interface pages: XML View, XML Tree, XML Grid, and XML Script. Tool has a special 'Micros' interface. The Micros are conversion executable modules that give you ability to customize your final XML output. ExamXML This program compares XML files. It provides several options for comprehensive comparison. Reloading files after changing any options is not necessary. The ExamXML can compare data from sources of many types, such as SQL servers and CSV files. After comparisons there are possibilities to synchronize elements, insert one element into opposite a tree and replace elements. During loading from an SQL server, the program converts data into XML. This program can save differences between files and merge XML files. Color highlighting shows the changes so that you can view which attributes and elements have been added, modified or deleted. Documents and differences between several files are displayed in a visual tree. The program validates XML documents against DTD/XML schema while loading the file. It also offers drag-and-drop support. ExamXML displays the XML element in a separate window, highlighting differences down to the level of elements, words or attributes. It can open XML files with external application, and normalize dates and numeric fields. Digital fields can be rounded, and date or time portions can be omitted at normalization.
