This is a MySQL databased Postcard System which sends an Electronic Postcard without overloading the mailbox of the recipient. Users can select the colour of the background and the colour of the text, and the date the e-mail to be sent. All these data will be stored in MySQL database and an email message will be sent to the recipient on the indicated day, giving the internet address where the recipient can pick up his/her postcard. This way the mailbox of the recipient will not be overloaded with large graphic files and the recipient can see the postcard at a convenient time. For the option to send a postcard on some future date, cron is used.
