Script Name AZbb :: AZ Bulletin Board On 18th August, 2003 I finally decided to start producing a forum that would fulfil my own expectations. There were a number of issues which made me embark on the project and the most important one was 'Security'. Next on the list were 'Speed' and 'server load'. My experience as a server administrator along with forum administrator plus my knowledge of internet security issues were instrumental in the way AZbb is coded. AZbb is the work of one person alone. It has taken me nearly one year of fulltime coding 7 days a week and around 3000 hours to produce AZbb. AZbb is coded in PHP using OOP. AZbb is compatible with PHP >= 4.1.0 including the latest PHP5 (recommended). AZbb does not require a database backend although a database interface module could be added with later releases. Since database access is limited and usually involve additional costs, AZbb should be easier and cheaper to set up and have broader appeal. Not using a database however does not hinder the performance or the speed of AZbb in any way. AZbb is FREE for personal and non-profit use. Forumwa Forumwa is a simple discussion forum, based on PHP and MYSQL. Beside the basic-features there are special functions like search function, user profiles, memberlist, mailer, feedback… Multilanguage, easy installation.. PHP FlatBoard PHP FlatBoard is a free distribution discussion board for PHP which requires no database support. Still in development, PHP FlatBoard aims to be a fast, high quality system, just as powerfull as the commercial database driven systems. Chipmunk Forum Chipmunk Forum is a small yet flexible and fully featured forum system. It has unlimited categories and forums, staff only forums, read only forums, 4 levels of permissions. Smilies, word filters, BBcode, Ip banning,flood protection, e-mail ban from registration and much more. Omegaboard Omegaboard is a modifided phpBB with improved security, and new features like sub-forums, sub-categories, post icons, event calendar, custom BBCodes, file attachments to posts, and customisable private messenger folders. MBoard PHP message board A message board that is ideal for webmasters who don't need or want big forums on their sites. It doesn't require any SQL databases. It stores all posts as HTML pages and features smileys, instant new post notification, easy deletion of inappropriate posts, style customization and more. It even comes with a bad words filter which will replace all bad words with ****. Simple Board Simple Board is a PHP script to create your own message board. It's very easy to install and run. Design of the public page is fully editable, you may also translate it to your language. You can use it on an unlimited number of sites for free. Gravity Board X Gravity Board X (GBX) is a message board system for free use on personal sites. GBX has many features to satisfy any type of user, competing with the top name discussion boards, both free and not. Gravity Board X uses PHP to process data, MySQL to store data, and HTML to display data in a way that is user-friendly. Featuring a dashboard on the main page, it is now easier and quicker than ever to view your stats, as well as those for the entire board. The system also supports user modifications.
