This script parses your Apache server log file (one or more), looking for domains that exceed a certain amount of accesses (threshold is set as percentage of all accesses). You will then have the choice to either allow or block these domains in the future. Also, you can mark them as "watched", to keep an eye on them. After you've made your choice, your .htaccess file will be updated with the new access rules. THIS IS THE SOUPED-UP MANUAL VERSION OF RSF3000.

USIC is a very basic server information client that monitors your ports using the bare bones of a Unix/Linux server. It includes HTTP, MySQL, IMAP, POP3, and others. The script was designed for admins to be able to check server status remotely. The script will watch in almost real-time by keeping the stats current. Opt-x is an attempt to build a network monitoring tool completely out of PHP. Its present abilties include, port monitoring, content monitoring, creating server groups, dynamic creation of a port list, tracking tasks, servers, vendors, and being able to log changes that occur to a server.

RIBS is an incremental backup system written in PHP which utilizes some common *nix programs (specifically rsync, ssh and cp). Incremental backups mean frequent backups can be done (i.e. hourly) with only around 2x the space of the full backup. Using rsync means that RIBS can act as both a backup script on a local machine, or as a script to backup several network hosts. It is designed to be highly configurable and highly informative to the system administrator. Includes a number of error checking, and logging/email capabilities.

This script returns the load averages of a Linux system, by using /proc/loadavg.

This is a PHP class that allows you to do unix/linux man page lookups from your website. Easy to use, and produces the results in a nicely formatted layout. It allows you to search with keyword and section numbers, and also display a list of all those found starting with a particular letter, or all starting with digits, or non-alphanumeric characters, etc. This class now includes the ability to cache your results for much faster lookup, and also has a timer built in so that you can guage just how long it takes to display your results.
