Freemed is designed to be not only an office management system designed to run on Linux but also an information system. With this system it is hoped that physicians and providers will be able to collect both demographic and outcome data. Freemed-YiRC is an open-sourced, GPL'd, free software program that can be used in Youth in Residential Care settings. It is based upon ideas and code used in the Freemed project. HoMaC, stands for Hosting Management Console, is a set of Perl/PHP scripts designed to administer hundred or thousand of virtual web hosts using apache. It is designed for use into a Unix or NT Web Farm, where technical people don't have time to create the web sites for the customers, or wish to allow other people with out have to give them the "root" or "administrator" account of the servers. HoMaC uses a MySQL database to centralize administering all the Web hosting accounts.
phpSNMP is a suite of scripts developped for easily managing SNMP data for ISP customers. Since most ISPs calculate billing based on 95th percentile of usage, which is determined by taking SNMP at 5 minute intervals, phpSNMP makes parsing this data much easier. phpSNMP reads the data from a MySQL database and then allows the user to make queries after entering the customer name and the billing period (month and year). phpSNMP can also be used for customers to check their stats, the htaccess features allow a "root" user to have access to all customers' stats, while a customer can only view their stats with their given username/password.
