Script Name Xinity Xinity is a powerful web content management system (CMS). You can build complex web sites with content edited and maintained by non-programmers. It is user-friendy because it eliminates the flexibility gap: in common CM Systems the editor loses the more flexibility the more the programmer gains and vice versa. In Xinity the programmer has the power to decide how much flexibility the editor has. There are no limitations given by the system. The editor edits his content in WYSIWYG, and there is no need to battle with <tags> or system-specific variables. Xinity is a highly scalable system with a lot of customization work to do with each installtion, and is not suitable for a quick test run. On the other hand there is a generic site architecture that comes with the base distribution, so you can set up you own Xinity web site in 30 minutes. Ad Master Ad Master is a set of PHP tools for managing site content as well as site users. It includes the template engine that allows not only to create multi-level static template structures but also to process dynamic PHP function calls. Besides the user management functions, the admin can also use Ad Master as a tool to manage banners. FileCMS FileCMS is a file-based content management system. SiteAdmin SiteAdmin is an easy to install and configure script that gives webmasters the ability to create a website using only some PHP and MySQL. It has a GUI front end for the database, and the webmaster can create, modify, and delete files on the fly. SiteAdmin is the next release of PageAdmin. It features integrated News, FAQ, Image Upload, and Quote of the Day, as well as PageAdmin, with a new field for easier filing and editing. An upgrade Script for upgrading from PageAdmin to SiteAdmin is included. APC ActionApps Content Management System The APC's ActionApp content management platform allows non-programmers to easily create dynamic web pages and online databases. A web interface is used to manage: Creation of new applications; editing fields; users and groups; HTML output formatting; content sharing. The Action Apps include advanced content syndication functions. These tools make it easy to share content between Action App enables sites, or other sites that can import content in the APC-RSS XML schema. The Action Apps are not a cookie cutter portal in a box. Rather, they are oriented toward the creation of individaul dynamic pages. Each 'App' represents a single page such as an events calender or a bibliography. Dynamic content is integrated into indidual HTML pages using and SSI or Java call. htmltmpl: templating engine htmltmpl is a templating engine for Python and PHP. It is targeted to web application developers, who want to separate program code and design (HTML code) of their projects. Even web designers can easily learn its simple but powerful template language. Templating language provided by the engine is inspired by Perl templating module HTML::Template. Templates created for HTML::Template can be used with this engine. The primary goal is to keep things simple for a web designer who creates the templates. Therefore, neither Python nor PHP code can be used in the templates. Instead, it provides its own simple templating language that supports basic programming operations like loops, conditionals and substitution of variables. These operations are controlled from within the templates by statements that look like HTML tags and integrate nicely with regular HTML code. pTemplate pTemplate is the simple analogue of SSI (Server Side Includes). It allows to create any number of HTML block with any level of nesting and store templates (HTML blocks) in MySQL database. One can use one HTML blocks in different places on his site and to modify that places one should modify only one HTML block. AvanTemplate AvanTemplate is a template engine for PHP. It is multi-byte safe and consumes little computing resource. It supports variable replacement, block that can be set to hidden or shown, loop, multple-depth loop, and inclusion of external template file. Portunity Portalsuite Portalsuite allows you to build websites or mini portals with a complete Content Management System. Alternatively you could use the Portalsuite to migrate existing websites step by step. The Portalsuite 2001 Light consists of three applications: Content Manager, Admin Center, Reseller Center. The Content Manager allows you to administer articles, pictures, video and sounds easily with your web browser. No trainings or programming skills are needed. This real time application enables anybody to put the content on his/her website or portal, and all changes are updated immediately. In the Admin Center you define structural, layout and design parameters, etc. The Reseller Center is used to administer several portals. With special portal templates you can create complete portals based on style sheets, automatically.
