Script Name Dynamic Excel or Word File from MySQL This script takes the contents of a MySQL table and dumps it to either a dynamically-generated MS Word File (file with ending '.doc') or a dynamically-generated MS Excel File (file with ending '.xls'). You can place this script on any Unix/Linux or Windows Server running PHP & MySQL, but you have to access it using a browser on a Windows computer with Word or Excel installed on it. This script does not use COM objects and does not support multiple Worksheets in Excel. It can be used not only for creating complete dumps of MySQL tables (as Word or Excel files), but can be very easily modified to support any kind of select statement you'd like to use. Table Optimizing Script This script automatically searches for the databases within MySQL on your server. It then goes through each of the databases (it checks first to see if you have permission to those databases) and optimizes all the tables within them. The only thing you have to change in the script is your hostname, username and password for MySQL. MySQL Add Content This is a PHP script that allows you to add content into a MySQL Database. Some script modification is need. PHPLIB Sql_pager This is an extension class to the PHPLIB library. It splits a SQL query into more pages like search engiens does. You can change the layout very easy. Uses the SQL function LIMIT so it may not work on all SQL databases. Xt-Dump XT-Dump allows to backup a table either all the contents of your Mysql database, under different forms of files in the choice, spreadsheet Excel, file sql, and file php for a later automatic restoration. XT-Dump allies simplicity and efficiency for a fast, effective and intuitive use. Application Builder for MySql This package contains integrated tools for database management, form, query and report generation. This package supersedes its previously published Relational Form Wizard for MySql and Sql Query Maker for MySql. The Database script is borrowed from SooMin Kim. The report builder is a fresh attempt to create reports from queries in HTML and PDF formats. Mlam Mlam is an advanced set of PHP4 libraries that allows developers to easily create database-driven projects using MySQL. It can handle various types of data (text, date, number, file, picture, external keys, link tables, etc), and includes its own management tool to edit and list (with search engine) database content for the given projects. Mlam also features user access restrictions, contains its own cache system, and supports English and French. Tutorials are also available to present the basics of mlam. Relational FormWizard for PostgreSql This is an attempt to create a relational form wizard for the PostgreSql database. Presently it only works for two tables which are relationally indexed. All the form features are available from previous work on the Formwizard for PostgreSql v1.0. Update:12/18/2001: The script has been updated to work on single table to five related tables. An example is provided. The script now works on Linux, Unix and Windows platforms. Relational FormWizard for MySql This script can generate forms on two tables where one index in the first table is realtionally linked to another index in the secondtable. This script can also generate a single table form. This work is an extension of earlier work on PHPFormWizard 2.0. Update (2001/12/02): Updated to get rid of the system commands such that it would be compatible with Linux, Unix and Windows OS. The PEAR libraries have been removed as it made the script litle sluggish. Forms can be generated from single upto five related tables. An example is also provided. FTDatabase FTDatabase (FTDB) is a database extension for the FastTemplate library. FTDB allows to display results of a database select automatically in a template. In addition, FTDB allows to scan templated forms and to generate insert and update statements automatically. Numerous format specifiers are available for select, insert, etc.
