This small plugin for Xchat shows via an alias (/sux) the current playing song under Xmms. It works with no particular Python module, using the libsong_change.so Xmms plugin, that (important) needs to be activated and set up with this string " echo "%s" > /tmp/xmmssong " (sans quotes).
