Script Name indexpage.pl indexpage.pl generates one or more index pages and the corresponding thumbnails for displaying images on the web. If there are more images available than will fit on one page with the specified number of rows and columns, indexpage.pl will generate more than one page, each with a navigator to easily reach the other pages. The pages will be called "index.html", "2.html", "3.html", and so on. There are lots of configuration options determining how the generated pages should look. Image descriptions are read from a file, eliminating the need to ever edit the files after generating them; they can always be regenerated for ease of maintaining. Image Display System IDS is a CGI written in Perl that generates a photo album website on the fly. All you need to provide are the images and (optionally) text descriptions. As you add new pictures, they will appear automatically. Each image will be displayed with information such as image type, file size, image size, and date uploaded. If EXIF information is embedded in the image (shutter speed, aperature, focal length, etc.), it will be displayed. It will create thumbnail preview images for JPEG, PNG, and GIF images. Slikpiks Photobook CGI Program SLIKPIKS is a set of Perl scripts wrapped in a Perl CGI to help with the automation of creating html photobooks for a set of JPEGs. It resizes images for thumbnails and web-sized images, adds captions, and auto-creates html. It is unique in that it allows you to add optional captions to your photos. All you need is the pictures and a text editor to put all the titles for every picture in a simple "album" textfile.
