Jinx Links is a links database where you can log in and add categories and links. The user end is a simple page where you can print the links, a list of categories and also the top ten links (it keeps track of how many times a link has been clicked.) It's easy to install and configure, and also searchable. It stores how many links are in each category as well as how many times a link is clicked. Requires PHP4/MySQL.

ZINK is an easy to use Yahoo-style link indexing script with a search capability. Features include: Unlimited depth of subcategories, Unlimited number of categories and links, Case incensitive search of the links database, Multilanguage support (English, French, Russian, Spanish, Catalan,Turkish in v1.1) for the end-user interface. Visitors can add links & categories, Customisable header & footer, and Simple admin section.

Bunghole is a link indexing system with no sub-categories. Links can be viewed sorted in many ways, has a voting system (listed sites can be rated from their sites as well) that blocks double-voting. Furthermore, it has a newsletter mailing list and comes with a sample database of 300 links (from the Bunghole database). The code is a bit buggy but is an excellent example to show you how to make your own simple link index sites. Bunghole is written in PHP, and uses a MySQL database on backend.

phpMyLinks is a php script which allows you to manage your http urls using a MySQL database on backend. It is very easy to install, and keeps all operations fast and thin. You can quickly add, delete or modify your http links and follow any link in the alphabetical list to reach your destination.

This project is a rebuild of the Link Conservatory from the ground up. The new twist is that instead of just links, lots of different kinds of content can be added. Webliographer is a server-based web application that allows people to build mini-search engines similar to Yahoo!. Webliographer is similar to Yahoo! in that every link is added by a human (rather than a computer program that searches the web itself). Because all links are added by hand, presumably by someone who knows what kinds of things you're looking for, it's likely that the links they add will be useful to you. The downside is that because links must be added by someone, you might not be able to find what you're looking for.
