This script can be extremely customizable, most users can even use this script to learn the process of checking links, and are able to write their own code. This script works good for when you have a link system requiring users to link back to you. This script makes sure that they do have a link on their site to you. All you need to do is enter the link you are looking for in the preferences section of the file, then point your browser and go. Link Popularity Checker The Link Popularity Checker enables you to enter a list of domain names that will check their link popularity in several major search engines including Google, HotBot / Inktomi, MSN, and Yahoo. You can email and export the results, which are sorted numerically. Link popularity is the amount of web pages in each search engine index that currently link to a specified domain name. The more link popularity a website has the better it would be ranked by search engines, you can also estimate the amount of visitors a website gets from its link popularity.
