DMR is a portal page creation system. DMR acts as a jack of all trades form, which allows for URL redirection as well as an interface to various search engines through its aliasing system. A DMR user can create aliases to any web/ftp site, complete with functional arguments. DMR keeps a history of all the URL's passing through it, so you'll never lose your place due to an unstable browser. The user interface is created within DMR, using regular HTML which can be as simple or as advanced as you like. PEngines is a customizable search engine front-end to any number of major search engines. It dynamically examines the contents of webpages to extract the form fields and reproduces hidden forms that perform the same function and with a front end that you can customize. PEngines requires the DPlib library which can be found on the download page.
This is a PHP script for interfacing multiple search engines using only one form. It allows you to pick which service to submit your search criteria to and creates and submit the appropiate form to it. This service could be a search engine like AltaVista or Ask Jeeves, or even lookup services like E*TRADE's Stock Quote, Webster's Dictionary or Internic's Whois. A form is created using PHP which has the necessary criteria specified, and can easily be extended by adding your own services to it. This script also allows for an unlimited number of hidden fields you can specify with the search.
