Scripts Related to - DHTML slideshow with fading effect
| Script Name |
Instead of simply rotating and displaying images, this image slideshow glides each one into view from the very top. A classic DHTML effect.
A hyperlinked image slideshow that glides each image into view from the very top.
Think of it as multiple slideshows all jammed packed into one. This script can handle more than one set of image slides. Toggle between them through text links. As an added bonus, you can specify whether each slide is linked to a unique URL.
A cross-browser JavaScript image slideshow that is easy to configure and use. This script uses previous/next button to move forward and backward. Any number of images can be used. Good utility for newcomers and beginners.
A versatile image slideshow that can be viewed in three ways- via a drop down menu, back/forward button, or automatically.
Using new multimedia effects introduced in IE5.5, this image slide show script "pixelates" into view the images.
This JavaScript allows you to have a large collection of images displayed. It uses cookies to determine which picture to view. To set up, you will need to modify the javascript include file last_month.js anytime you add or remove images. This picture viewer was created for the simplistic nature of adding more images, and running completely on the client side.
Display a series of images in an automated slide show, a pulldown menu, or the various slideshow controls that are included, such as previous and next.
The purpose of this script is twofold: To show the perceived performance enhancements of pre-cached images, and To show how to script continually rotating images. When this page loads, it automatically pre-caches four images that are immediately available in the right-hand pane. The idea here is that as long as the visitor is waiting for a page to load, all the images may as well be downloaded up front, allowing for instantaneous image access thereafter. Activating the checkbox turns on a function that continually cycles through all pre-cached images at five-second intervals.
This is a unique slideshow script that will intelligently preload its images one at a time, while the preceding image is being shown. Use this script if your slideshow contains a lot of heavy duty images, and you don't want your visitors to wait forever (literally) before he/she can see the slide.
