ShoutPro is an easy to use, fully customizable shoutbox script. It is completely free and doesn't require a database. ShoutPro supports smilies and formatting code and also features a profanity filter and the ability to password protect certain names. You can easily add new smilies and edit the formatting code and filter. Installation is very simple and only requires a basic knowledge of HTML. BETA 4 now includes IP banning and the option for users to register their names so that a password is required to use them.
