Script Name Quick & Simple User Interface Enhancement (SELECT Fields IE5) Have you ever noticed how browsers only take notice of single keystrokes when you switch items in a SELECT field using your keyboard Pressing A....U....S in a country selection list will give you a country beginning with S, when you really wanted Australia or Austria. This scripts buffers the users input and compares it against the OPTIONs in the SELECT field, choosing the closest match as you type. Now supports the Thai character set. websafe colorcube This script allows you to show a colorcube with the 216-websafe colors without using any image. The dots are blinking. ColorPop This script opens a popup color chart when the "chart" buttons are clicked. You select a color by clicking in the chart, and the hex representation of the color is automatically entered into the text fields. You can add as many color fields as you like with no javascript coding. This script works in both Netscape and IE. Sorting HTML Tables Using Javascript This JavaScript code can be used to convert tables in ordinary HTML into sortable ones by associating each title column with an onClick event to automatically sort the data rows. No additional coding is necessary. All you need to do is give your table an ID field, include the sortTable.js file and call initTable in your document's onLoad method. Show Source Code A code snippet that displays the source code of the currently viewing page with a click on the button. The flying elements This script demonstrates how to have a defined element always displayed on the screen. JavaScript Page Breaker You might have come across a search result where number of results are devided in to so many number of pages. But each link no say 2,3,4...when clicked it contacts the server to display the next set of results which takes time. This application uses javascript to get the total number of results in a string format from any server side program ASP, JSP, Servlet, Perl, etc. So the search will be at the client side and will be much more faster than usual. In addition, there is an option for the client to decide how many results to be displayed per page. year jump thingy YearJump is a control used for navigating through the years. It itself apparently doesn't have much use, but it can be adapted to some other category of navigation instead of years. Reload This is a JavaScript that can reload your Web page. Useful for displaying random images, etc.
