Script Name Always-on-top message This is a TV-like message banner script that creates a "always-on-top" message, centered at the bottom of the surfer's screen. Use it to display a message that's constantly visible on your user's screen. Neon lights text Neon lights are an effective way in which to draw attention to signs and banners on the street, and now, to your webpage text as well. Requires IE 4+ to work, with all other browsers seeing simply the plain version of the text. Depressible DHTML buttons Use this visual DHTML script to transform regular text/ image into depressible buttons. Java Floater This is a JavaScript which will place a floating image in the bottom corner of a web browser. If you've visted sites on GeoCities lately you've probably seen the floating logo they have in the bottom corner, this script does the same kind of thing. Alphabet Soup This is an interesting visual effect JavaScript. Using sine and cosine functions this JavaScript allows you to rotate each alphabet letter in a circle continuously. Every so often all the letters gather together in a center, and then get scattered again. Shake Screen California has earthquakes, and so does JavaScript1.2. This short JavaScript code will actually shake your browser window by using the moveBy() function, somewhat like a web browser earthquake. Text Blinker JavaScript 1.2 (found in version 4.0 browsers) provides this neat effect: the text changes color every second. Now this is a great way to draw attention without using the annoying BLINK tag.
