Script Name tau tau is a fully-featured, advanced attendance utility with an easy to use web interface. It allows you to perform most of the tasks of everyday personnel and student management. It also provides high security with various levels of users and also manages data regarding courses, classes, departments, students and their time-tables. Further, it can be used to generate various kinds of complex reports. Managing personal schedules and creating dynamic timetable formats are also possible. tau is written in PHP 3.x and uses PostgreSQL as the backend database. adept adept is a web-based course system written in PHP3 using MySQL as the database. It allows authors to write short courses that would be available to users needing to learn something specific. As an author you can write your course directly online, and set up a FAQ, links to other sites and a homepage for the course. Each course also has its own discussion group. As an user you can register and get a password by email. Once you log in, you can choose any number of available courses. You also get access to a small notebook. For each part (module) of the course you can mark it as "ready" so you know where you are when you come back. The system also keeps track on new and changed modules. When you are finished with a course you can answer a small survey. Your "score" is also used to calculate the "average rating" for the course. adept is currently available in Swedish and English. PHPHomework PHPHomework is a set of php4 scripts to enable a website run a service for students and teachers. Students can look up new homework, teachers can edit, delete or add new one. There is also a set of utilities for the admin to manage subjects, user/teacher logins.
